She is a Wisconsin native turned American Nomad. Since 2016 she has been working seasonal jobs around the US national parks, mainly out west after falling in love with the desert. On her weekends and between jobs, she makes sure to get outside and explore nearby national parks or at least do some kind of hiking.
In the fall of 2014 she started Red Around The World mostly for funsies to share pictures from previous and future travels and it’s evolved into something a little more helpful than just pictures. She works seasonal jobs full time and blogs on the side about all her adventures. Her blog focuses on all things outdoors, road trips, hiking, and national parks.

Having experienced the struggles of trying to make travel happen with a demanding career, she, along with her sister, blogs about how to travel while navigating life’s responsibilities, like work or school.
As of September 2017, Diana has traveled to 48 countries on four continents. Her next big adventure is hiking Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, and she plans to make that country #50.
