Meet The Admins

In addition to our Admins, we have a team of over 40 Moderators and Helpers. These wonderful ladies help keep the community the awesome place that it is.
Head over
here to find out more about them!

Lottie Reeves

Originally from the UK, Lottie has traveled extensively across 6 continents & lived in Australia, Canada & South Africa.

She ditched the bright lights of primary classrooms to embark on an adventure exploring South Africa in a caravan and started her travel blog to document her adventures.

Along the way, Lottie taught herself web development in order to earn while travelling and her blog fell to the wayside as work picked up at the same time as my involvement in FTB. She now writes content for FTB, her social enterprise and her business blog and also works as a Rebel Coach and Online Business Developer.

She’s now moved (temporarily) back to the UK and lives on a narrowboat with her boyfriend, needy but beautiful dog and baby bump!
Lottie is all about empowering women to follow their dreams and loves being able to share her business knowledge with the FTB community. She is always excited to talk about web development and living life to the beat of your own drum!

A self-proclaimed princess who loves all things pink and sparkly; connect with Lottie at her site Lottie Reeves | Rebel Coach.

Kelly ann Duhigg

Kelly is a quirky (quirky is an understatement but we’ll just go with it) New Yorker who started her solo female travel blog, Girl with the Passport, way back in ye olde January of 2017.

Having got tired of living for the weekend and hating everything about my full-time job as a nanny she decided that it was time for a change. And that’s how her bloody blog was born. It’s a place where she shares her passion for travel with others and inspires them to do what they love and make travel a priority since life is just too short to do anything else.

Fast forward almost three years later and Kelly has quit her nanny job and become a full-time travel blogger who does a bit of Pinterest and SEO consulting on the side. She has also moved out of New York and is currently living the proverbial, Millennial dream as a digital nomad.

As of right now, Kelly calls Southeast Asia home, but who knows where the future will take her! What she does know is that there are no plans to return to NYC and she’s SUPER excited about being a part of this amazing community of women.

Sophie Clapton

Over 4 years ago, Sophie booked a one-way ticket to South America. Having just qualified as a midwife, she turned down a job offer at a local hospital in London to embark on what led to be a much longer and more exciting adventure than she could ever have imagined.

A passion for photography led to Sophie documenting her travels through Instagram. When she started it back in Feb 2016, she had no idea that it would eventually create an opportunity to transform her lifestyle into her livelihood.

Despite years of success on the Instagram platform, Sophie recognised its limitations. She wanted to have a platform where her photos and stories had more than a 24-hour lifecycle, and where she could post photos she loved that wouldn’t “fit” into her feed. In 2019, she began the Travels of Sophie travel blog!

While she is still relatively new to this, she has already found far greater fulfilment in the content she is able to share. What’s more, the amount of support she has received from the female travel blogger community has been humbling. It is a community that understands that this is a cooperation, not a competition, and everyone benefits by growing together.

Brand Partnerships

We have partnered with many brands in the travel industry to both bring opportunities to our members as well as to support the brand’s marketing strategy. Our partnerships are developed on a personal basis and we actively seek long-term relationships that benefit both parties.

If you’re interested in partnering with FTB to promote your product to our members, find influencers to work with, run competitions, source content, or in any other creative way, we would love to hear from you! Just send us an email and we will get back to you within 3 working days.

Women in travel summit

Our partnership with Women in Travel Summit (also known as WITS) included promoting and attending their conference for women in the travel sector.

Tourlina

We partnered with Tourlina, a females only travel app that focuses on connecting solo female travelers. We encouraged women in our community to download the app and empowered them to travel the world even if they started their journey alone.

Kosan Travel Co.

The Kosan Travel Co. is an FTB member run company that strives to provide practical, high quality travel gear. We were able to help share how awesome their products are and encourage pledges on Kickstarter.

Eight Corners

We worked with Eight Corners, a phenomenal branding company that teaches bloggers and small business owners how to find their voice through branding. We encouraged growing FTBers to take their business to the next level.
