FTB’s Sell It!

If you have a product or service, FTB wants to help you Sell It! Read on to find out more about the Sell It! system as well as the rules for once you’re signed up.

What is Sell it!

FTB’s Sell it! is an opportunity to promote your products and services within the FTB community.

We know how tempting it can be to have such an amazing course or service that targets women in our female travel blogging community and not be able to shout from the rooftops, so FTB’s Sell It! was formed to allow you to do just that.

Why do we have Sell it!

There’s this interesting thing that happens with travel bloggers where you get really good at a specific thing in blogging (be that SEO, a specific social media, creating graphics, etc.) and start offering services in that niche. Or maybe you got a taste of the independence that working from anywhere gives you with your blog and decided you want more of that! Whichever category you fall in, a good portion of bloggers take that leap at some point in their blogging career.

As you can imagine, the bigger our group gets, the more people we have trying to shove their products and services down other people’s throats. This led to somewhat of a free for all in our group where a question such as “I need help with Pinterest. Can anyone give me tips on how to start” turned into 10 people offering Pinterest virtual assistance services or tagging people in the group who had courses or offered services instead of answering the question and offering genuine help. So, we wanted to take the self-promotion (and promotion of others) out of the equation on general questions in the group and give the entrepreneurs in our group a place to promote those services that didn’t interfere with learning and sense of community in our group.

That means that all requests for courses, services, etc. must be posted as a response to our Sell It! album graphic that says Help Me Find… NOT as their own post in the group. You’re welcome to tag members who offer those services in response to those requests as long as they are a Sell it member! If you notice that there aren’t any responses to it after 24 hours, you’re welcome to tag someone who isn’t in Sell it! so they can help out.

Who is Sell it! For?

Sell It! is for any member of our community that owns their own business whose target audience is women, travelers, bloggers, or female travel bloggers specifically (JACKPOT!). All of our members have been personally vetted to ensure that they own an active travel blog.

Our Sell it! has everything from freebie opt-ins, courses, challenges, virtual assistance, apps, tours, retreats, conferences, and more! These are all FTB owned products/services that have gotten a nice boost in our community. We love connecting FTBers in need with badass female entrepreneurs in our community, and yours could be next!

How Much Is Sell It!?

We offer a few options for Sell it! So you can choose one that is the best fit for you from the packages outlined below.

*You may only appear in our newsletter once every 3 months.
If you choose to do a 3 or 6-month bundle, they must be paired with tier 1, 2 or 3.

How do I sign up for Sell it!

What do you want to promote?

The first thing you need to do is decide what you want to promote or offer. Do you want to promote a freebie to get more subscribers on your email list so you have a bigger crowd for your next challenge or course launch? Or maybe you’re running a special for your business, a new course is about to launch, or you’re trying to fill a retreat.

What is your budget and how do you want to use FTB for promotion?

Take a look at the packages below to see which option is the best fit for you and the product you are trying to promote. The rates below are for a 1-month package, with the opportunity to purchase 3 or 6-month bundles for a discounted rate.

Once you’ve decided what you’d like to promote and which package is best for you, email Jess letting her know what option you would like, what you will be promoting, and your name on Facebook so we can verify that you are a member of our community.

After that, we will ask for more information, send you an invoice, and create your graphic so you can start promoting!

What are the rules for Sell it!?

The rules for Sell it! are simple!

Wait for your graphic to get uploaded to our Sell it! album and for Jess to send you your bit.ly link.

Depending on which tier you chose, that will decide how many times you can share a month (ex: tier 1 no shares, tier 2-4 two shares a month, tier 5 four shares a month). Use these to skill fully promote your product/service throughout the month using the number of shares you’re allotted.

When you’re writing your posts for the group, you’re welcome to use any graphic you would like, but you must use the assigned bit.ly link so we can track how your post is doing. If you don’t use your designated bit.ly link, your post will be removed.

You must also use the hashtag #Sellit1 if it’s your first share for the month, #Sellit2 if it’s your second share for the month to help you keep track of how many times you have shared your post.

Make sure you are checking the Help me find.. graphic in the Sell it! album to see if anyone is looking for the service you offer!

Do you have Any tips for promoting myself using Sell it!?

Be fun and original! Let your personality shine through in your post.

Be helpful and educational. Show that you’re knowledgeable about what you’re selling so others can trust you

Use a fun graphic that grabs people’s attention and tells them what they need to know.
